Since fall 2023 we once again set new standards by introducing the new compact CHP units of our 700 kW class.
Also in this class we supply our cogeneration machinery as a complete unit inside a sound-insulating, compact canope (L x W x H = 4.20 x 1.70 x 2.70 m) with integrated control and power section. Urea injection and Adblue mixing section are built already inside the CHP unit, which has a very space-saving effect on the SCR unit installed behind the CHP unit. The exhaust heat exchanger is mounted in the exhaust path as it fits the CHP project best. This means that our CHP units of the 700 kW class can be connected and commissioned within a few days, also in confined spaces or noise-sensitive environments. This innovative design reduces the installation effort in this power class, in which usually open gensets are delivered and mounted on site, considerably.
The centrepiece of the 700 kW class is the compact CHP unit GG 710 with the MAN E3872 LE201 gas engine. This newly designed V12 turbo engine has a displacement of 29.6 litres with a bore of 138 mm and a stroke of 165 mm. It has an outstanding electrical efficiency of 42.5 % and can be operated with natural gas as well as biogas and sewage gas applications. With the 700 kW class we continue our strategy of gradually expanding the power range of our compact CHP modules upwards.
As in the other power classes, this CHP unit is also equipped with our proven iPC control system and can thus also be connected to the internet-based remote monitoring system RemoteManager.
Natural gas: GG 710
Sewage gas: FG 710
The compact CHP units of the 700 kW class have all core characteristics of SOKRATHERM cogeneration units:
or short: Compact, efficient and reliable.
