SOKRATHERM again among the Top 10 CHP unit producers

In November 2020 the most recent „BHKW-Ranking“ (CHP unit ranking) was published in the Energie & Management magazine. It comprises all CHP units sold in 2019 from 1 kilowatt Micro-units up to Multi-Megawatt units. SOKRATHERM is one of the few producers which are present in every BHKW-Ranking since its first publication in 1999.

Among the circa thirty suppliers listed are big MNCs like Caterpillar as well as numerous mid-sized companies. Generally there is little movement among the number of suppliers: Some companies enter the ranking, some stop sending their numbers, yet the total is regularly around thirty.

With a total of 15 MW sold CHP unit power (el) we have improved our position in 2019 to rank 9 among the suppliers of natural gas powered CHP units. In the power range supplied by us, 50 kW up to 1 MW, we achieve a top position regarding sold CHP power as well as number of sold CHP units and reach a market share of circa 20 % in several power classes.
